Allison Beasley, competing in her first outdoor season for Western Colorado, placed second in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase final in 10:24.98 at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Neta and Eddie DeRose Thunderbowl Stadium in Pueblo. Beasley earned All-America honors in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track for the Mountaineers.
